GRADUATE SCHOOL VISION/MISSION

The  NDU  Graduate  School envisions itself as a center of academic excellence in graduate education, taking lead in research aimed at addressing current needs in the region, providing opportunities for students’ involvement in strategic issues, empowering students such that they become catalysts of change, exposing them to current trends in their respective fields of endeavor enhanced and brought to higher level of expertise, establishing fruitful linkages with government and non-government organizations and offering alternative delivery system of education.

 

OBJECTIVES

The Graduate School seeks to play an important role in the socio-economic development of the region in particular, and of Mindanao in general, through its graduates whose knowledge and competency in their respective fields will be enhanced and brought to higher level of expertise.

Specially, it seeks to:

  • Take lead in research activities which will address current needs of the community; Provide opportunities to students to be actively involved in strategic issues, at the local, national, and global levels, such as school management, peace and development, environmental issues, human values, public service, business issues, etc.
  • Empower students to become catalysts of change in their place of work/community.
  • Expose students to current trends in their respective fields of endeavors;
  • Establish linkages with government and non-government agencies especially to national institutions wherein cooperative endeavors are found viable.
  • Offer alternative delivery system of education such as distance learning, community based education, modular learning and the like.

Dear faculty and students of the Graduate School,

I extend my heartfelt greetings as we embark on a new academic year at the Graduate School of NDU. As the Dean, I am honored to be a part of an institution dedicated to academic excellence and the advancement of graduate education.

Our vision is clear: to be leaders in innovative graduate education, addressing the pressing needs of our region and beyond. Through rigorous research and strategic initiatives, we aim to empower our esteemed faculty and students to become agents of positive change. Our goal is to enhance their expertise and provide them with a deep understanding of the latest advancements in their respective fields.

At the Graduate School, we strongly believe in the power of collaboration. By forging strong partnerships with government and non-governmental organizations, we actively contribute to the progress of our society.
