Notre Dame University joined the Bangsamoro Science and Technology Week (BSTW) Opening Ceremony today, August 25, 2026, at the Cotabato City KCC Mall Convention Hall. The University was represented by University President Fr. Francis Efren C. Zabala, OMI, DMin.

A key highlight of the event was the Ceremonial MOA Signing for NDUโs Ministry of Science and Technology Research & Development-Funded Project, “A Fuzzy Logic-Based Prototype Application for Flood Monitoring in Cotabato City.” The Project leader for this work is Dr. Raymond G. Mamaril with his team, Dr. Johaira Lidasan, Engr. Audrey B. Aba and Engr. Jomel Avenido. This technology-driven initiative seeks to provide innovative solutions for flood monitoring, disaster preparedness, and community resilience in Cotabato City.
