The school placed second overall and third for best school paper, qualifying in numerous categories for the regional tilt.

The Pioneer ranked third overall among RSPC qualifiers, placing second in Science and Technology Page and third in Layout and Page Design.

Lawag Landas also finished third overall, excelling in Editorial Page (2nd), Sports Page (2nd), Feature Page (3rd), Science and Technology Page (3rd), and Layout and Page Design (3rd).

The school also earned second place in Copy Reading and Headline Writing (English), News Writing (Filipino), Feature Writing (English), Editorial Writing (English), Sports Writing (Filipino), Science and Technology Writing (Filipino), Photojournalism placed third and the Collaborative and Desktop Publishing finished second.

NDU-HS broadcast teams topped Radio Script Writing and Broadcasting in both English and Filipino, collecting multiple special citations.

The English team won Best in Technical Application and Best in Infomercial. The Filipino team swept Best Anchor, Best News Presenter, Best Script, Best in Technical Application, and Best Infomercial.

The campus journalists from NDU-HS, a recognized school of excellence, will now represent the division at the regional competition, where they will compete against top performers from other divisions across the region. The RSPC serves as the qualifying round for the National Schools Press Conference.
