Notre Dame University โ College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) welcomed the faculty members of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) โ Department of Social Science and Philosophy who visited Notre Dame University to benchmark on the CAS-AB Philosophy program.
Leading the USM team was Frans Bert D. Gomez, Chairperson, Department of Social Science and Philosophy. Along with him were USM faculty members Ypril James Cabasag, Maricar Juaneza, Erwin Mallo, and Althon Dave Omictin.
NDU-CAS was led by Dean Dr. Ma. Theresa Llano and Humanities and Languages Department Program Head Bernardo Chua Jr.. NDU AB Philo faculty members who shared during the benchmarking activity were James Edison Andaya, Laurence Nichol Bedia, Glenn Cantomayor, Fr. Jaime Del Rosario, Fr. John Angelo Gamino, DCC, Ninio Sagucom, and John Lorence Samson.
The meaningful exchange provided both institutions with the opportunity to learn from one another, sharing insights that strengthen and enrich the teaching and learning of philosophy. Notre Dame Universityโs wealth of experience, having offered the AB Philosophy program for decades, served as a valuable guide for continuous improvement.
Through this collaboration, both universities reaffirm their commitment to advancing academic excellence and enhancing innovative approaches to learning for their students.
